For the second year running, bikers are making a pilgrimage to the scene of Lee Rigby's murder, marking the anniversary of his Woolwich death.

In an event dubbed the Ride of Respect, bikers met up in Sevenoaks before gathering at Greenwich Park this morning at 11am.

Some of the bikers - who say the event has no political message - will then travel to Woolwich, forming a guard of honour for the others as they ride past.

It is their intention to lay a wreath at the scene of Drummer Rigby's murder in Artillery Place.

Lee Rigby was killed on May 22 2013 by two Islamic extremists as he was walking back to Woolwich Barracks.
