Dartford men Brian and Paul Reader today (May 21) appeared in court charged in connection with the Hatton Garden jewellery heist.
Brian, 76, and his son Paul, 50, both of Dartford Road, appeared at Wesminster Magistrates' Court alongside six other men, charged with conspiracy to burgle.
All eight were refused bail.
They were arrested following 12 raids at addresses Enfield, east London and Dartford on Tuesday morning.

The case was adjourned until June 4, when the men will return to the same court.
Last night a ninth man was bailed pending further enquiries, while it emerged today that police are questioning a tenth person in connection with the raid.
The 42-year-old was arrested in Essex and remains in police custody.

The other men charged with conspiracy to burgle are: Terry Perkins, 67, of Heene Road, Enfield, John Collins, 74, of Bletsoe Walk, Islington, Daniel Jones, 58, of Park Avenue, Enfield, Hugh Doyle, 48, of Riverside Gardens, Enfield, William Lincoln, 59, of Bethnal Green, east London and Carl Wood, 58, of Elderbeck Close, Cheshunt.
The charges relate to the heist over the Easter weekend when a gang targeted the vault of a safe deposit company, ransacking 72 safety deposit boxes.

They forced open shutter doors into the basement and bored holes into the vault wall.
Reports said the contents of the boxes may have been worth as much as £200 million.
