Musical youngsters from north Kent are all set to join 5,000 children across the world to record a charity single.
Pupils from Northfleet Dance Academy and Ifield Special School flocked to Tymberwood Academy in Gravesend on April 27 for a day of singing and dancing workshops.
The day was held in preparation for recording ‘Listen To Us!’ the feature song in 'Voices Around The World' - a global project aimed at raising funds to build a school in Njombe, Uganda.
Laurie Lewin, director of the Voices Around The World project, joined the students at Monday’s rehearsal.
He said: "In this way, the tremendous singing and dancing work of the pupils here in Kent, along with that of students all around the world, will be making a huge difference in improving the lives of young people in Africa.
