Notorious Gravesend prankster Daniel Jarvis made a splash over the weekend - crashing the Diving World Series in his latest Youtube stunt.

The 26-year-old, from Whitehill Road, who often appears in videos on Youtube channel, Trollstation, bypassed officials at the London Aquatics Centre on Sunday (May 3) and stripped down into skimpy trunks before jumping from the middle diving board.

Crowds, who had turned up to watch the likes of Tom Daley who went on to win the competition, booed the prankster.

He was escorted away from the pool by security guards.

Mr Jarvis told News shopper that he thought the prank had gone well.

He joked: "It went well.

"I feel great sharing the diving board with Tom Daley.

"I think I could of done better, but the security guard was pressuring me.

"I think if I prepared more and wasn't so rushed I could have got gold."

Previous Trollstation pranks have included carrying out fake kidnappings in Gravesend, pretending to be a traffic warden giving out tickets to police cars and patrolling Gravesend dressed as a police officer alongside a pig.

The Diving World Series is not the first sporting event to be targeted by Mr Jarvis who took part in pitch invasion at White Hart Lane during Tottenham Hotspur's Europa League clash with Partizan Belgrade.

Jarvis, Nathaniel Thompson, 23, and Helder Gomes, 22, were banned from attending football matches for three years as a result.

Mr Jarvis also appeared in the ring during a WWE wrestling march at the O2 in Greenwich.
