Travellers takeover near Tesco's
Travellers have arrived in Sidcup, and are currently living in roughly a makeshift site behind Foots Cray Tesco’s.
The camp, comprised of a dozen caravans, can be seen from the Sidcup bypass.
Bromley Council said because it is privately owned land, not a park or other public area, they have no powers to evict the travellers.
It now falls to the land owner, thought to be Tesco PLC, to take any legal action against their new guests.
Tesco's have been approached for comment.
