A Depford bar has had its licence revoked after an attempted murder outside the venue.
Police had been called to Taste Lounge on Deptford Broadway in the early hours of March 9 this year following reports of a fight outside.
When they arrived they found one man had been stabbed and another had been smashed over the head with a bottle.
Two men, aged 19 and 22, were later arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and remain on police bail.
And, at a licensing hearing last night (April 27), the bar - also known as J5 - had its licence revoked by councillors.
Sergeant Matt McGrath from Lewisham police's licensing unit said: "The application for review, evidence provided and the decision made by the licensing committee sends out a clear message to all licensed premises on the borough that failure to uphold the licensing objectives can lead to its revocation."
