A woman was cut from her car and taken to hospital after a three-vehicle smash in Woolwich on Sunday evening (April 19).
Emergency crews were called to the crash in Artillery Place at the junction of John Wilson Street at around 6.30pm.
Paramedics took the woman, believed to be in her 50s, to hospital after firefighters freed her from the car.
Her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The road was closed to traffic in both directions and buses diverted until around 10pm.
Twitter user Danielle, who saw the aftermath of the crash, posted: “#SE18 Car crash. Buses and traffic stuck.”
She later added: “Someone was getting cut out by the looks of things.”
