A motorcyclist has been arrested in Orpington after failing to stop for police.
A police helicopter was heard circling Petts Wood at around 4.30am this morning (April 6) before the motorcyclist was arrested for alleged 'traffic offences' at 6.30am in Horsmonden Close, Orpington.
Petts Wood residents reported six police cars "hammering" through Petts Wood and along Mayfield Avenue towards Orpington "all flashing their lights and one sounding a siren."
A police spokesman said: "A male motorcyclist was arrested for traffic offences - he had initially failed to stop for police."
