A woman from Bromley is raising money for the fight against cancer – while wearing a giant boob.

Amanda McNally, 30, organised ‘Bouncing for Boobies’ at The Spa in Beckenham on Sunday (March 29).

A team of eight from Beckenham and Crystal Palace trampolining clubs took to the nets for a 12 hour bouncing marathon - with some wearing a giant boob costume donated by charity CoppaFeel!.

Miss McNally, who is engaged, explained the reasoning behind the event, saying: “My mum was diagnosed with breast cancer and a year earlier my dad was diagnosed with cancer.

“I wanted to do something that make a difference and would hopefully help others.”

Raising around £400 on the day, and a further £2,118 so far online, profits will be split between CoppaFeel! and Cancer Research UK.

MORE TOP STORIES With both her parents in remission, mum Veronica McCann, 61, from Bellingham, said: “I feel very proud of her. She’d just gotten over her dad being diagnosed.

“I didn’t think they would raise that much and I’m so pleased she did it. The outfits did look quite comical.”

Miss McNally, a PR consultant from Sundridge Park, added: “I’ve worked with CoppaFeel! before and I knew they had the giant boob costumes so I thought it would be quite funny to dress up as one.”

Each team of four took a 15 stint on the trampoline before a 45 minutes break.

Supporters and well-wishers dropped in throughout the day and we able to have a go on the trampoline.

Miss McNally, a keen trampolinist, added: “It was really tough, much harder than we thought.

"About halfway through I hit a wall but we pushed through.”
