Young competitors from Bexley borough won a bronze medal in boccia at the London Youth Games.
Cleeve Park School represented Bexley at the Balfour Beatty Youth Games - Europe's largest annual youth sports event - at the National Sports Centre, Crystal Palace on March 24 and 25.
Boccia is one of 31 sports competed in and is a precision ball game, related to bowls, contested by athletes with physical disabilities.
Leyton Thompson, team manager of Cleeve Park School, Bexley Lane, said: "They were closely fought matches, the quality and the standard was very high.
"They dug deep and we got a bronze medal, so I'm really proud of them".
The games are open to all young Londoners aged 7 to 18.
Earlier in the games Bexley’s tag rugby team from Days Lane Primary won a gold medal, while Beths Grammar School won silver in volleyball and Chislehurst and Sidcup Grammar won bronze in dance.
