Armed police closed off a Gravesend street this morning (March 31) after residents reported 'hearing gunshots'.
Kent Police were called to Darnley Road just before before 3.45am March to a report of a firearms incident.
Armed officers stormed the residential street which is closed while enquiries are carried out to establish the circumstances of the incident and find those responsible.
No injuries have been reported.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "This is being treated as an isolated issue and there is not believed to be any threat to public safety."
