SEWER upgrade works are expected to be mostly completed this month.
Thames Water has been working in Petts Wood since last July replacing pipes and storage tanks to stop flooding in the area.
The £8.2m project has led to 1.8km of pipe replacement and five storage tanks being installed.
Final road resurfacing will be completed next month.
The remaining works in Tudor Way, to replace the sewer pipes under the railway bridge, have been deferred until the summer holidays to minimise disruption.
This will include a road closure from Queensway to beneath the bridge.
