Your votes have helped win £122,500 funding to transform the Thames Path in Thamesmead.
The project, put forward by Greenwich Council, housing provider Peabody and charity Sustrans, was one of seven schemes to secure enough votes in the Mayor of London's Big Green Poll.
Londoners were invited to vote online for their favourite scheme with 10,000 votes being cast overall.
The whole route in Thamesmead will be enhanced with look out points, mini green havens and new seating and it's hoped the improvements will encourage more people to use the path.
Peabody's chief exec Stephen Howlett, whose company has already committed an initial £225m to the regeneration of the area, said: "This will open up a number of transport links and employment opportunities and help to improve the green open spaces and waterways alongside the path.
"The change will help to put Thamesmead on the map."
