Tragically unfortunate adverts for airline Germanwings are being removed from the London Underground network in the wake of the French Alps plane disaster.
The adverts show a stewardess dressed in the uniform of the German low-fare airline next to a caption reading: "Get ready to be surprised. Visit Germany."
Transport for London (TfL) said nearly all of the 80-plusadverts have been taken down, with the remaining ones due to be removed shortly.
A TfL spokesman said: "Germanwings got on to our advertising partner and asked if the adverts could be taken down."
These tube billboards probably need to be taken down ASAP @germanwings #germanwings #PRDisaster pic.twitter.com/eq8c6yJAil
