A project delivering reminiscence Lewisham workshops is among 87 schemes in London sharing more than £788,000 in Big Lottery funding.
Community organisation European Reminiscence Network, based in Lewisham, will use its funding of £9,830, for workshops for socially isolated people living with the effects of dementia as well as a training course for its expanding base of volunteers.
Two schools in are also benefiting from the latest round of lottery funding.
Lewisham's Morden Mount Primary School receives £9,900 to deliver extracurricular personal skill development sessions and Greenwich's St Alfege With St Peter's CE Primary School receives £9,600 to provide healthy eating and general fitness sessions for pupils.
A grand total of £5,389,834 has been awarded to 607 projects across England through the Big Lottery Fund's Awards For All programme, of which £788,908 has been earmarked for schemes in London.
