Police are hunting this gold-toothed man in connection with a series of burglaries in Brockley, Crystal Palace and beyond.

Jermaine Leroy Lewis, 36, is wanted following five thefts which began last April, including a burglary at Sandstone Road, Brockley on April 14 and a Crystal Place Road crime on Valentine's Day this year.

Another of the burglaries took place on Christmas Eve last year in Alexandra Drive, Crystal Palace.

Lewis is described as a black man, approximately 6ft 1in tall, of slim build, with brown eyes and has gold teeth at the front of his mouth. He also has a scar on his left hand and a small scar on the right side of his mouth.

He has links to Lambeth and Southwark and police believe he may be staying in these areas. He also frequents the Lewisham area and has previously been sighted in and around the Holborn area.

Detective Constable Debbie Shallcross, from Lambeth CID, said: "Burglary has a big impact on the victims and some of the victims in these cases have had laptops and electronic items stolen that hold lots of personal photos and videos, which are irreplaceable."

Anyone with information should contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
