A hit-and-run driver mounted the pavement and struck a middle-aged man before smashing into a lamppost and a wall in Beckenham on Wednesday (March 4).
Police were called at around 1.45pm after the car crashed into a 43-year-old man and left a trail of destruction along Beckenham High Street.
The driver fled.
The pedestrian was taken to a south London hospital suffering from minor injuries and was later discharged.
The road was closed to traffic as police investigated the collision.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
