A violent argument between drivers at a busy Blackheath roundabout was captured on video by a passer-by using their mobile phone.

The attack, which happened on February 5 at around 2pm, followed an altercation between two drivers at the Sun in the Sands roundabout.

Both drivers stopped and got out of their vehicles and, in the ensuing incident, one suffered a broken nose.

A member of the public, who noticed the altercation, intervened and tried to assist whilst another filmed the incident on their phone.

Greenwich police have pieced together CCTV images from the A2 and the footage provided. They are keen to identify the white man in the video.

Detective Constable Danny Banks, in charge of the investigation, said: "I am keen to identify the man in the footage and talk to anyone who witnessed this incident. We are interested in speaking with the member of the public who intervened to assist both drivers and the person who filmed the altercation on their phone. Anyone with information should call us in confidence."

Anyone with information should call police on 0208 284 9430 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
