Eltham's hidden gems will throw open their doors again this month with a host of activities for residents.
Be a Local Tourist Day takes place on March 15 with a free guided walk of the Town Centre, starting at 2pm outside the main gate at Eltham Palace.
Also on offer are tours of the historic Eltham Lodge and the Grade I-listed clubhouse of Royal Blackheath Golf Club, said to be the world’s oldest. Tours start at 10am, 10.30am and 11am.
Subject to proof of residence, you can also pop into the magnificent palace from 10am to 4pm, with the last admission at 3pm.
The Bob Hope Theatre will play host to an Open House between 11.30am and 3.30pm with memorabilia on display.
Eltham Fire Station will open from 11am to 3pm and it will be open house at the historic St John’s Church at 10am.
