Lewisham police carried out a drugs raid at a pub in Catford last night (February 26), arresting five people.

Officers say they executed a drug warrant at the Catford Ram pub, which is situated in the shopping centre, at 8pm on February 26.

Pub regulars sat at their tables and watched as those suspected of being involved in drugs activities were handcuffed and led away to a room at the back of the pub to be searched.

As police closed the doors on any new customers arriving, regulars were allowed to leave after walking past a drugs dog.
