Shy and retiring superstar Kanye West popped into Nando's at Greenwich's The O2 ahead of last night's Brit awards - and then climbed up on one of the tables.
Mr West later performed on stage with a horde of other rappers including Lewisham's own rising star Novelist, although most of the song was muted due to his repeated profanities.
Earlier that evening, the rapper caused a huge commotion in the Greenwich chicken shop as customers tried to get selfies with him.
He is reported to have told the restaurant: "If you want a picture with me, now's your chance.’
And - unlike certain other performers on the night - he managed to keep his footing on top of a table during the resulting chaos.
One eager fan wrote: "THIS IS NOT A DRILL! Kanye West legit just got on a table at Nandos for selfies with fans!"
He went on to order two burgers, chips, garlic bread, chicken and some spicy rice.
