A Chinese school saw in the new year in fine style again this year.
Pupils from Greenwich Chinese Community School, which runs language classes along with singing, poetry and dancing activities, celebrated the Year of the Goat.
Headteacher Josephine Chan was joined by 42 volunteer teachers, with performances from the students in Canonese and Mandarin.
There were also demonstrations by the youngsters of kung fu, singing and the recitation of traditional poems.
Mrs Chan said: "Everyone who participated, including the teachers, parents and children received red packets containing a small amount of money.
"We wished the children and their families good luck for the whole year."
