A 63-year-old man has appeared in court charged with stabbing his partner to death at their Kidbrooke home.
Former Royal Mail engineer Ronald Bacon, 63, of Langbrook Road, has been charged with the murder of Tracy Goodwin, 56, the mother of his two children.
Police were called at 1am yesterday morning (February 24), to reports of a stabbing at a house in Langbrook Road.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended but Ms Goodwin was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following their arrival, Bacon was arrested and later charged with murder.
He appeared at Bexley Magistrates' Court this morning where he was remanded in custody.
Bacon will next appear at the Old Bailey on Friday (Feb 27).
