An overloaded socket has started a blaze in a bedroom in Dartford.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to a house in North Road at 1.30pm today (February 18) after neighbours saw smoke pouring from a first floor bedroom.
Assisted by London Fire Brigade (LFB), crews tackled the fire which was well alight when they arrived.
The owners of the property were not at home when the fire started.
No one was injured.
