Two Sidcup Girl Guides have won the Baden-Powell Challenge Award, the highest prize possible.
Amy Tregenna, 15, and Katherine Beeching, 14, from the fourth Lamorbey Holy Trinity Guide Unit, did months of challenges to win the award.
The girls’ challenges included taking part in the BP Challenge Adventure run, writing cookbooks, doing volunteering work and taking up new sports such as archery.
Katherine said: "Guiding is such a positive experience for girls, we learn new skills, make friends and take part in adventures that make a positive impact on our lives and the lives of others."
Amy added: "I have been in Guiding for six years. It has been a wonderful experience for me."
