There were medals and trophies galore at Charles Darwin School's annual dance competition in Biggin Hill.
Now in its eighteenth year the contest entitled the ‘Dance, Choreography and Performance Competition’ showcased the best movers in the school.
Performing in front of a 250 strong audience, 12 groups battled it out to win the coveted awards.
Years Seven to 13 each performed for a medal, with two trophies up for grabs.
Year 12/13 medal winners Grace Beegan, Emma Conington, Megan Williams and Dennile Young performing
Louise Rees, deputy headteacher and one of the judges, said: "The pupils never disappoint us.
"Every year the competition evolves and moves in a different direction, and this year was no exception.
"The judging really does get harder every year; all those that bravely took part in the show should be congratulated.
"I really appreciate the time, effort and commitment that went into making the competition so close this year."
She was joined by fellow teachers on the judging panel with past pupil Amber Adkins - who previously won a medal and trophy - as the guest judge.
Money raised from the competition, held last Monday (February 9), will fund more dance at the school.
