Car breaks down and spills fuel on Blackwall Tunnel
There are long delays on the Blackwall Tunnel northbound this morning (Feb 11) after a car broke down and spilled lots of fuel.
The vehicle broke down between A102 (Tunnel Entrance) and A12 / A13 East India Dock Road with congestion on A102 to A2 / A207 Shooters Hill Road (Sun In The Sands).
The tunnel was closed northbound from 6.45am to 7.20am.
The vehicle, which broke down and spilled fuel, was originally believed to be a bus but was later confirmed as a car.
