Two people from Swanley have been arrested following an assault in Margate.
Police were called to Ethelbert Gardens in Margate at 11.37am yesterday (February 9) to reports of a serious assault.
It was reported a man suffered injuries, believed to be stab wounds to the neck.
He was airlifted to a London hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Two people from Swanley, a 48-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man, have been arrested on suspicion of assault, and remain in police custody.
Officers are treating it as an isolated incident and enquiries are on-going.
