A Thames Clipper crew member gave CPR to an elderly passenger who went into cardiac arrest near Greenwich pier on Saturday (February 7).
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) was called to the pier at around 10.30pm following reports of a man unconscious.
Prior to their arrival, a crew members from the clipper gave the man CPR, before an RNLI crew worked on him for 50 minutes with the assistance of paramedics.
He was given oxygen and one of the vessel's on board defibrillator was also used
A spokesman for the LAS said the patient, reported to be in his 70s, was taken to hospital as a priority.
Sadly, the man did not survive.
