It’s the biggest party of the year and even James Bond is getting involved.

Former Bexley resident Sir Roger Moore has joined News Shopper’s 50th birthday celebrations by taking this snap with his favourite newspaper.

Speaking from his home in Switzerland, Sir Roger told reporter Patrick Grafton-Green: "If the News Shopper had been around when I was living in Bexley, I would still be living in Bexley."

Sir Roger, who used to live in St Mary’s Mount, Wansunt Road, is not the only celeb to help kick-off News Shopper’s anniversary celebrations.
