Stars have come out to help News Shopper celebrate its golden milestone.

Over the years, many a celebrity have got their mitts on copies of the paper which has its finger on the pulse of south-east London and north Kent.

And famous faces from across politics, film, TV, music and theatre have not hesitated to wish us well.

Among those to pose with copies of the paper so far are peerless entrepreneurs like Richard Branson, then-Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Mayor of London Boris Johnson and stars of the mega BBC soap EastEnders like Sean Williamson (aka Barry).

And we’ve got more up our sleeves for the coming months.

Even cool for cats musicians love Shopper.

Speaking to us last year, Squeeze songwriter Glenn Tilbrook told us: "I read News Shopper when it drops through my door every week. You might think I’m taking the piss, but I’m not - I am a big News Shopper fan."
