Eight people were injured in a three-car crash in Orpington on Saturday.

Emergency services were called at 2.54pm to the collision on Court Road at the junction of Warren Road.

One car had overturned and another had struck a bollard.

Ambulance crews treated a man and a woman, believed to be in her 60s, for neck and shoulder pain.

They were taken as priorities to Kings College Hospital in Denmark Hill.

Paramedics also treated two children, believed to be four and seven years old, and another woman and man at the scene before taking them to the Princess Royal Hospital in Farnborough.  

Two teenagers made their own way to hospital after receiving treatment at the scene.

The London Ambulance Service sent two ambulance crews, a duty officer and a fast response unit from the Hazardous Area Response Team.

The Met Police and London Fire Brigade also attended.

A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said no one was trapped.

Police and fire officers left the scene at around 3.40pm after making the road safe.

No arrests were made.

Saturday’s collision was the second along Court Road in just three days.

On Thursday (January 29), two vehicles, thought to be a blue VW Gold a red Honda, crashed at the junction of Park Avenue at around 8.30am.

The two drivers, a 45-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man were treated for minor injuries.
