Charities across south London took time to praise the News Shopper after they received charitable donations worth more than £20,000.
The three lucky charities - Demelza Hospice, Centrepoint in Lewisham and The London Playing Fields Foundation - picked up their cheques at the News Shopper's office last week.

The hospice, in Eltham, was awarded with a £9,353 cheque for a 'magic carpet', and Centrepoint in Lewisham received £9,750 for their Move Through project.
The London Playing Fields Foundation (LPFF) received a £2,000 grant for mini-soccer goals at the London Marathon Sports Ground in Shooters Hill Road, Greenwich.
Laura Smyth, from Demelza, said: "It's absolutely amazing, I've never picked up a cheque for this amount of money before!
"It's going to make such a difference to so many people."
Jo Mckenzie from the LPFF said: "The grant will benefit a lot of people. We’re really grateful for the opportunity to access these donations."
Jane Bayer co-ordinator of the Move On project for Centrepoint said: "This money will go a long way to help young people. We really appreciate this funding."
