Oxleas has won a £12.6 million annual contract providing healthcare services in three prisons in Thamesmead.
The NHS foundation trust will start running the services at HMP Belmarsh, HMP Thameside and HMP Isis in April next year.
More than 2,600 prisoners are housed at the three prisons.
Oxleas will lead the provision of mental health facilities, dentistry, pharmacy, podiatry and a GP service, with the help of partner organisations.
The trust, whose headquarters is based in Dartford, will also be responsible for providing a new healthcare IT system throughout the complex.
The trust’s forensics and prison services director John Enser said: “We are delighted to have won this contract.
“We did look after mental health services in Belmarsh between 1991 and 2008 and during this time we were very proud that the service achieved NHS Beacon Site status.
“We look forward to achieving the same level of quality in the future.”
