The UK's first purpose built dementia friendly café is to open in Bromley.
The Mission Café, located in The Mall, is throwing opening its doors on January 9.
Run by Mission Care, they are a charity which provides nursing care to elderly people with dementia, estimated to affect around 8,000 people in the UK.
The café, just off the High Street, will be focussed on providing a supportive environment for people suffering from dementia, and will have trained staff working at the venue.
Volunteers from specialist organisations will also be on hand.
David Evans, chief executive of mission care, said: "I am thrilled to announce the opening of Mission Café on 9th January - this is an exciting development in the supported service Mission Care provides.
"I believe it will have a positive and lasting impact within the community."
While dementia friendly cafés and spaces already exist throughout the UK, Mission Care claims this is the first which has been specially designed for this purpose.
