Police are continuing to search the river Medway as part of the hunt for a missing Greenhithe man.

Patrick Lamb, aged 28, from Greenhithe, was last seen leaving Bar Chocolate in Market Buildings, just off Maidstone High Street between 12.30am and 1am on December 13.

He was on a night out with friends and wearing a black Superdry coat and t-shirt with silver lettering at the time of his disappearance.

Kent Police and family and friends of Mr Lamb have been scouring Maidstone in search of the broadcast engineer for the past seven days.

Police divers have been deployed to an area of the river Medway which was identified as an area for 'further investigation' after sonar devices were used in the area earlier yesterday (December 19).

Over 16,000 have a joined a Facebook group to help search for Mr Lamb - the page owners have organised a mass search for him tonight starting at 7pm at the Muggleton Inn, High Street, Maidstone.

Anyone with any information on Mr Lamb's whereabouts should call police on 101.
