An Erith Christmas tree festival dazzled onlookers last weekend.
The three day event, which started on Friday (Dec 12) and finished on Sunday, included more than 80 real trees.
Societies, businesses and individuals all helped deck out the Grade II listed Christ Church in Victoria Road, Erith, in aid of charity.
Visitors donated cash to Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice based in Bostall Hill, Abbey Wood.
The church’s reader Jim Bennett organised the festival.
He said: “It was a fantastic success in terms of raising money but also for bringing the community together.
“We think we had around 2,000 people come along and we’re still counting up how much we raised.
“It’s the ninth year we held the event and we’re so grateful to the people who came and supported us.”
