Country music stars, including Sidcup-schooled Nashville TV star Sam Palladio, are heading for a hoe-down – plus Santana and Nicki Minaj announce gigs – in Greenwich.

Sam, who trained to be an actor at Rose Bruford College in Sidcup, will play the O2 on March 6 for the Country Music Association’s Songwriters Series alongside Brandy Clark, Jessie Alexander, Jon Randall and host Kix Brooks.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday (December 12).

Meanwhile 10-time Grammy winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Carlos Santana and his band will play at the venue on July 25 as part of their The Corazon Tour and are expected to play their greatest hits.

Rap queen Nicki Minaj is also heading to the O2 for a show on March 28, supported by Grammy nominated R&B singer Trey Songz.

Nicki, who is nominated for two awards at next year’s Grammys, said: “It’s been way too long since I’ve seen my European Barbz.

“I can’t wait to get back and party with all of you with Trey Songz. We have more than a few surprises in store, and I promise this will be my biggest and best tour yet.”
