The deadline for comments on plans to transform Crystal Palace Sports Centre has been extended.
The consultation over plans for the site, in Ledrington Road, was originally due to end on October 31 but will now close on November 16.
Plans include preserving the Olympic size swimming pool, a modernised health and fitness suite, and community facilities including a café, a playground and climbing wall.
There are four different options which all include building a new primary school as well as a new building for Capel Manor College, which is currently where the athletics track sits.
A spokesperson for the Mayor of London said: "We have been really encouraged by the strong response following the launch of the public consultation on the future of the National Sports Centre at Crystal Palace. Public engagement has already been extensive, and we want to give as many people as possible the opportunity to feed in their views.
"We understand that a number of groups have further meetings planned to formulate a collective response. Therefore, we have decided to extend the consultation period until the 16th November."
Leader of Bromley Council, Cllr Stephen Carr, said: "We welcome this announcement that the consultation period has been extended and I would encourage all local people to look carefully at what is being proposed by the Mayor of London."
