An Orpington furniture store has featured on Peter Andre’s 60 Minute Makeover for kindly donating a painted oak dresser to a foster family.
Staff from the ITV show approached family-run Owen Pine and Oak Furniture at Owen Farm in Chelsfield back in July to see if they would like to take part in an episode of the show.
The 25-year-old local business supplied a classic painted oak dresser free to an episode which sees Tonbridge mum, Karen’s house receive a makeover prior to the arrival of her new foster kids.
Company director Jessie Reid said: “I felt privileged to have been approached by 60 minute makeover.
“As a local furniture business that sells British made products it is nice to be supporting a local family that will be doing a great thing for young children by fostering them.”

The store, which began life as a traditional pine shop housed in a few stables, has expanded over the years into a huge barn style showroom selling shabby chic, vintage, oak and garden furniture.
To celebrate their involvement in the show, Owen Pine and Oak Furniture is offering Peter Andre look-a-likes a discount throughout November.
The more the customer resembles the Mysterious Girl singer, the higher the discount they will receive on their purchases.
The episode is set to air between November 10 and December 19.
