There may not be such a thing as a free lunch but breakfast is now a possibility.
A Biggin Hill eatery is offering free breakfasts for winners of a writing competition to commemorate Remembrance Day.
Spitfire Cafe in Main Road launched the contest this month and features a poety category in line with National Poetry Day today (Oct 2).
Children aged 4-6 and 7-11 are asked to submit either a poem or short wartime story and photograph in memory of World War One.
The winning entry, announced on November 2 in time for Remembrance Day on the 11th, will be framed and shown in the cafe.
For more information about how to enter visit the Spitfire Cafe Facebook page.
