A Gravesend arts centre raised more than £200 to fight cancer by joining in with a national coffee morning scheme.
Gravesham Arts welcomed around 80 fundraisers to its headquarters in the St Andrew’s Arts Centre in Royal Pier Road on September 27.
The MacMillan coffee morning was one of thousands across the country raising funds for cancer research.
Local duo Fiddlefit provided live acoustic folk, ranging from traditional English to Cajun and Celtic.
Cakes, tea and coffee were all enjoyed and Councillors Sara Langdale, Lee Croxton and Lyn Milner attended.
Gravesham Arts PR manager Zoe Draper said: "When I was in there I thought this is what St Andrew’s Arts Centre should be used for - nice, community goings on.
"It was a lovely atmosphere with good cake, good tea and good music - what more do you want on a Saturday afternoon?"
