A pair of alleged burglars from Kidbrooke have appeared at crown court charged with targeting houses in Sidcup, Bexleyheath, Welling and Falconwood.

Jerry Connors, 24, and Patrick Connors, 22, both of Briset Road in Kidbrooke, appeared at Inner London Crown Court on September 26.

They are both charged with five counts of burglary dwelling and theft, two counts of burglary dwelling with intent to steal, and one of theft of a motor vehicle.

Two homes in Bexleyheath, two in Sidcup, one in Welling, one in Falconwood and a seventh in Dagenham in Essex were allegedly targeted between January 3 and February 5.

In four of the alleged burglaries jewellery was reported stolen.

The pair were charged with stealing a Jaguar car between November 28 last year and February 7, while Jerry Connors has been charged with possessing pepper spray on February 6 at an address in Hillcrest, Sidcup.

On September 12 at Bexley Magistrates’ Court he did not enter any pleas but his alleged accomplice, Patrick, pleaded not guilty to all eight charges he faced.

The case was referred to Inner London Crown Court, where the pair appeared for a case management hearing on September 26.

Both Connors have been released on bail to next appear there on December 12.
