A fugitive fled from police across a primary school playground yesterday.
Kent Police officers stopped a suspicious vehicle in Princes Avenue Dartford and the driver fled - chased by officers on foot and the police helicopter.
The dark haired man, believed to be in his early 20s, jumped the fence of Fleetdown Primary School in Lunedale Road and ran across the Key Stage Two playground.
The man did not approach any of the pupils but the school sent out a letter to parents informing them of the incdient.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "Kent Police was called at 2.15pm on September 29 to reports of a suspicious vehicle in Princes Avenue, Dartford.
"It is reported the vehicle stopped and the occupant, a man, left the scene.
"Enquiries are ongoing to locate the man."
