An 11-year-old is in hospital with 'potentially serious' injuries after being hit by a car in Valley Drive, Gravesend this morning.
Kent Police officers are appealing for witnesses following the crash.
Police were called at 8.29am on to a reports that a grey Citroen C1 has hit the boy.
South East Coast Ambulance and Air Ambulance crews were called to the scene at around 8.30am and the child was taken to Kings College Hospital in London.
The road was closed until around 10am while emergency services dealt with the incident.
