Detectives are appealing for information following the theft of a number of jewellery items burgled from a Lewisham home.

The burglary, in Panmure Road, Sydenham, occurred at approximately 4.15pm on July 23 with the two suspects subsequently making off with a quantity of jewellery and an iPad worth in excess of £8,000.

Both suspects are described as being a black males in their early 20s, of slim builds, around 6ft tall with one wearing a fisherman style hat, beige polo t-shirt with horizontal stripes and the other wearing dark clothing.

The stolen items include:

  • A long gold/bronze necklace with glass bauble containing three dandelion seeds
  • A silver tiffany link bracelet with round tiffany tag and small animal collar tag with inscription 'Mog'
  • A thin gold band with two blue sapphire stones in centre and six small diamond clusters (three each side of sapphires)
  • A silver ring with large blue john stone set in flower shape of small diamonds. Blue john stone slightly cracked
  • A silver George Jensen ring - plain silver with a twist
  • A silver tiffany woven ring A medium silver chrysanthemum shaped ring with pearl
  • A set of Duchamp silver with purple enamel cufflinks with crown motif
  • A gold ring with three cut diamonds in a straight line
  • A large silver ring, rope effect with a pearl set middle

Detective Constable Vicki Carter of the Burglary Squad at Lewisham leads the investigation said: “We are keen to speak with anyone who saw anything suspicious or who was in the area at the time and may be able to assist us. Some of these items are very distinctive items that will be immediately recognisable.”
