A 26-year-old man has denied causing GBH to a man in his 40s who was attacked in Gravesend just before Christmas.
The victim had been leaving a party with a friend when the incident happened.
He was reportedly punched without warning in West Street just after midnight on December 15, leaving him unconscious in a pool of blood.
The victim suffered a fractured eye socket, a displaced cheekbone and lacerations needing a total of 26 stitches.
At Maidstone Crown Court on September 11, Danny Tester, of The Hollies, Gravesend, pleaded not guilty to one charge of GBH.
He was released on conditional bail before a trial set to start in early November.
