Dartford Council is reminding people about the Thursday’s Market’s move this week with a video featuring the traders themselves.
The YouTube clip was created by resident John Harding and featured Dartford Council Leader Councillor Jeremy Kite.
Traders are shifting to Dartford High Street this Thursday (September 4) as the lease on the market’s current home, in the Sainsbury's car park by the Priory Shopping Centre, is expiring.
Dartford Council leader Councillor Jeremy Kite, said: "I know many of our traders are looking forward to the move and it will bring the market right into the heart of the town, making the High Street even busier on a Thursday."
Markets supervisor Clare Creighton said: "The plans to bring the market into the High Street have received a very positive response from both market traders and retailers in the town centre and they’re looking forward to the move."
