A man killed after being hit by a van in Perry Street, Northfleet has been named as 76-year-old John Taylor from Gravesend.
Mr Taylor was killed on August 13 when a white Hyundai van reversed into him.
A statement from the grandfather's family said: "We are deeply saddened by the tragic and unexpected loss of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed."
Mr Taylor’s cremation will be held at Medway Crematorium at 2pm, on September 4.
The family has extended the invitation to all who knew him and have requested no floral tributes but donations to the Ellenor Lions Hospice, c/o The Co-operative Funeral care, 127A Milton Road, Gravesend, Kent, DA12 2PJ.
