A man was flown to hospital after he injured his head and neck in a fall.

Kent police and South East Coast Ambulance crews were called along with the Kent Air Ambulance to a field in Dartford at 10.02am on yesterday morning (August 28).

The man was taken to King’s College Hospital by road although Helicopter Emergency Mission Service staff accompanied the man for treatment.

Air Ambulance crews also attended a motorbike crash which closed a section of the A2 on Wednesday (August 27).

The accident happened just after 5pm on the west-bound carriageway at the Darenth interchange.
